The Nature Report and Advice Coordination team supports the Flemish government and its partners in the preparation and evaluation of nature policy. We are responsible for the annual monitoring of the nature indicators and for mandatory periodic reporting on the state of nature and the natural environment (NARA-T), on the impact of government policy and the extent to which policy objectives have been achieved (NARA-B) and on future prospects in these areas (NARA-S). We are also responsible for the provision of objective, scientifically based advice on conservation, development, sustainable management and the use of biodiversity and nature.
