Julie Callebaut is an Agile Product Manager for nature projects in the team 'Nature and Society' at INBO. The team implements agile workflows by involving stakeholders in an iterative way, to achieve results with more impact and added value.
With a background in Biology and 15+ years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Julie focusses on user oriented product development, including capacity building and stakeholder engagement. She has worked in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Pacific, both in the private and public sector.
Previous projects she was actively involved in, range from vegetation modelling (NICHE), hydro-ecological studies, environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring & reporting, spatial analysis, mobile data collection and more. Currently she is working on INTERLACE, a project to strenghten urban ecosystem restoration in the European Union and Latin America (read more on interlace-project.eu). She also provides support to the projects Future Floodplains, GEO.INFORMED and AD-LIBIO.
