Personal profile

Research expertise

In general, my research focusses on the driving pressures that influence the status and trends of (threatened) species and which conservation measures can be taken. At the moment, the main topics are 1) the conservation of bats: modelling and improving landscape connectivity, assessment and modifying hibernation site characteristics, 2) Management (e.g. farmland agreements) in agricultural areas to improve biodiversity (farmland birds and insects).
