Abstract
In collaboration with ANB, a research design will be designed to achieve a supported integration of urban nature targets in nature management plans. This project will consist of two sections that are interconnected.
In the ecological part, knowledge about species in the urban context and urban nature biotopes will be built up. In the socio-ecological section, the aim is to embed this ecological knowledge in new (2017) style nature management plans.
In cooperation with ANB, this project aims to achieve a supported integration of urban nature targets in nature management plans. For this purpose we can work with the 4 pilot projects ANB already has and/or with our own cases in Genk, among others.
Ecological part: building knowledge about species in urban context and urban nature biotopes. For the pilot project \Ringpark Groene Vesten\ ANB has the concrete question whether INBO can be involved in the process, in order to scientifically underpin nature in urban context.
Socio-ecological: how can this ecological knowledge be concretely anchored in nature management plans new (2017) style?
