Abstract
Agouti is an AI-powered platform for cameratrap data management. Since its inception in 2008, the platform has been committed to encouraging cameratrap users to preserve their data and store it securely, so it can be used for research and conservation.
This NLBIF-funded project is building various features into Agouti that encourage and facilitate users to publish their projects, including contact details, and share (meta)data via GBIF.
Several projects owned by the applicants, WUR and INBO, will be published on GBIF. Users will also be actively approached and supported to publish their projects on GBIF. This makes more cameratrap data FAIR for everyone.
