Abstract
The Westerschelde is an important Natura 2000 site for which conservation targets have been set. Several wader species do not meet these targets, raising the question of whether this has local causes, or whether the cause lies elsewhere. INBO will investigate which factors are most influential by carrying out a statistical analysis on conducted low-water bird counts in the Westerschelde during the period 2018-2021.
