Biodiversa+ Subtask 2.4.2 Use of biodiversity monitoring data in decision making (public and private)

The agreement frames the participation of the Flemish Administration (VL O)/ANB in Biodiversa+, the European Biodiversity Partnership that succeeds the Biodiversa programme since 1 October 2021, as part of the European Biodiversity Strategy 2030. VL O is leader for Subtask 2.4.2, within Work Package 2 (Transnational Biodiversity Monitoring).
Building on, and in close connection with the work of EuropaBON: This Subtask aims to demonstrate the usefulness of monitoring data (and of an improved and harmonized European monitoring framework), e.g. for reporting to the Habitats Directive, the CBD post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework, ecosystem accounting, private actors, etc.
