Cereal worthy

This project is a follow-up of the project "Cereal farmers with nature". Its objective is to further develop a sustainable cooperation around old cereal varieties among farmers and bakers. This cooperation will strive towards fair price setting throughout the production chain, from farmer to baker, envisaging risk spreading and agro-ecology. INBO will lead a work package on biodiversity monitoring. It will provide farmers some simple tools (Apps) with which they can monitor biodiversity. During the first season it will develop a methodology in a participatory way. During the second season, it will test the methodology with a bigger group of farmers.
