Ecotoxicological study of fishes from Kallemoeie

The purpose of the Kallemoeie Pond is to store polluted sludge from, among others, the Upper Scheldt and the Leie. The purpose of the research is to map the current pollution situation of the fish in the lake. For this purpose INBO will sample a number of fish and perform analyses on muscle tissue of fish from the Kallemoeie. In this way we want to check to what extent toxic substances from the polluted silt accumulate in fish tissue.
