EU reporting on the regional conservation status of Natura 2000 habitats

Project Details

Abstract

Every six years, every European Member State must report on the conservation status of the Habitats Directive habitats to the European Commission. INBO does the reporting for the Belgian Atlantic region and works with DGARNE-DEMNA (Direction Générale Opérationnelle Agriculture, Ressources naturelles et Environnement - Département de l'Etude du milieu naturel et Agricole) and IBGE/BIM (Brussels Institute for Management of the Environment) for this. After each report, the Commission embarks on a thorough evaluation of the methodology and process with the Member States in preparation for the next reporting cycle.
