Financial equivalent for the compensation of irreversible damage to nature

This project replicates the valuation process set up by BIOVAL but instead of animal species, this SWO will focus on determining financial compensation for irreparable damage to protected vegetation, small landscape elements and forests. Within this SWO, a framework will be developed following similar principles as used in the framework for animal species. It will also look at how the method and list can best be applied in current legal procedures.
