Abstract
To ensure the findability, availability and optimal use of species data in the near future, we are developing a Flemish Biodiversity Portal. This will be freely accessible to all agencies of the Flemish government and citizens, to support policy and research.
We will pay attention to both the acquisition of the relevant datasets and making them available to the user, with an optimal adaptation to their needs.
We start with a needs and feasibility study in which we map the needs of potential users within the Environment department. This analysis will be financed through the “Omgevingsinformatiesamenwerkingverband\ (OIS).
