Project Details
Abstract
GEO-BON is the Global Earth Observation - Biodiversity Observation Network.
The Genetics Composition working group of GEO-BON aims to develop, test, and improve approaches for assessing genetic diversity to facilitate more robust scientific data synthesis and to more accurately measure biodiversity conservation progress (or lack thereof) for policy makers. The Genetic WG is focused on developing intra-specific Genetic Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBVs).
