Abstract
Achieving a good conservation status for a number of European habitat types in nature reserves on the inner dune edge is often impeded by the excessive nutrient content levels due to former agricultural use. In this study, the nutrient status, with emphasis on phosphate, is checked in the areas managed by the Agency for Nature and Forest within this zone. For this purpose, vegetation surveys are made in combination with soil analyses. Reference types are also described in a similar way. The results should allow us to draw up a vision for the management of the inner dune edge areas.
