Abstract
Aquatic biodiversity is studied in a gradient of land use (bio-farming versus conventional agriculture). The taxonomic, functional and intraspecific genetic diversity of several aquatic species groups is investigated (zoöplankton, macrophytes, macro-invertebrates, amphibians and fish) on a local and regional spatial scale.
