Quantifying partridge-friendly management

Project Details

Abstract

Hunting of partridge is only open in wildlife management units that meet two conditions: a sufficiently high spring stock of the species and the application of a partridge-friendly management. In view of regulatory initiatives to optimise and concretise the legal framework, INBO, at the request of ANB, are conducting a study on the possibilities for quantifying partridge-friendly management of the landscape. This study includes a literature study on the possible measures and the interrelationship of landscape elements for a favourable management of partridge.
