Recommendations on measures for wintering waterfowl following reporting Birds Directive

    Project Details

    Abstract

As a follow-up to the reporting for the Birds Directive, INBO will formulate policy recommendations for wintering waterbirds showing a negative trend and a large distance to the objectives as formulated in the conservation objectives (IHD). These are: ruff, northern pintail, common pochard, pink-footed goose, tufted duck and Eurasian wigeon.
The recommendations are formulated on the basis of the causes of decline and will be placed in an international context.
