SEIA-NHP: Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of the Flemish part of the National Restoration Plan

Project Details

Abstract

The socio-economic impact assessment (SEIA) is part of the Flemish component of the National Restoration Plan, implemented under the European Nature Restoration Regulation. Together with ANB, TML, VITO, and ILVO, INBO is conducting this assessment. The analysis maps the expected socio-economic effects and societal benefits of nature restoration measures. It builds on the Gisele methodology, multiple valuation, and structured stakeholder involvement. The aim is to deliver a scientifically sound and socially supported analysis alongside the national restoration plan.
