In this report we analyse the potential impact of the electromagnetic field from power cables from Borssele to an offshore wind farm in the North Sea on the movement behaviour of twaite shad. The results show no significant effect of the cables on both the foraging movement behaviour and the spawning migration of twaite shad at the scale of the entire estuary. However, it should be noted that the detection stations were further than 50 m from the power cables, the maximum distance to which electromagnetic fields could be observed. To gain more insight into the local movement behaviour of shads near the power cables, a different setup of the detection network is needed.
