Abstract

This report examines what steps policy can take to combat climate change using our (semi-)natural ecosystems and the raw materials derived from them. How can Flemish policy support the growing bioeconomy while helping to achieve the climate and biodiversity goals from the Green Deal? What role can our (semi-)natural ecosystems play? We explore the policy's levers, the results it has delivered so far, the barriers it encountered and possible solution paths.
