Abstract
As part of the RadIUS project, fieldwork was carried out to better understand the current occurrence of five Union list species: Oriental bittersweet, Chilean rhubarb, American skunk-cabbage, Eastern baccharis, and Common milkweed. We visited known locations of these species, confirmed their presence or absence, and mapped their local distribution. Where possible, we checked with site managers for knowledge and experience, and discussed a site-specific plan of action. This mapping should better enable policy and management to provide a species-specific approach for each of these early invasive species in Flanders.
