As part of the repair of longitudinal connectivity, fish migration in the river Kleine Nete is being evaluated. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the operation of the fish passages already constructed. In this project, an assessment will be made of the fish passages at the Grobbendonk and Kasterlee water mills by means of catches and (permanent) catch structures. In addition, concrete recommendations will be formulated regarding the operation of the established fishing passages and similar future fishing passages. In this project recommendations will also be formulated regarding the methodology used to evaluate fish passages.
